Why Pluto will remain a dwarf planet

An article on Huffington Post by Dejan Stojkovic, associate professor of physics, looks at the history of Pluto, the only planet in our solar system discovered by U.S. astronomers, and its classification, first as a planet and more recently as a dwarf planet. “Pluto is whatever it is, and that has not changed a bit since we demoted it into a dwarf planet,” he writes. “We can label things what we want, but it is irrelevant because nature uses its own logic, which is sometimes superior to ours.”
