UB partners with Jamaica on infectious disease research center

An article in Business First reports UB on Wednesday convened its first meeting of the Buffalo Jamaica Innovation Enterprise to begin exploring ways to share research and clinical findings to help both countries. The article reports Gene Morse, associate director of UB’s New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, is leading the effort, based largely on his experience in developing similar infectious disease research and clinical partnerships in Zimbabwe and other African nations.
