The debate over minimum wage

Jerry Newman, SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor in the School of Management, was interviewed on NPR affiliate WAMU-FM’s Diane Rehm Show with guest host, USA Today’s Susan Page, in a special debate over the minimum wage in Los Angeles and nationwide. Los Angeles voted to increase its minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2020 and dozens of other cities have passed or are considering similar measures. Newman comes on at about the 14:10 mark.
