An article in the Buffalo News looks at the development boom that is occurring downtown, thanks to the growth of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, and quotes Robert Shibley, dean of the School of Architecture and Planning. “This kind of activity is a game-changer for the downtown and, as such, will be a big lift for the region,” he said. The article notes that construction on the medical campus includes the new UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
