Boston Globe interviews UB law expert about recent Supreme Judicial Court rulling

Jessica Owley, professor of law, is quoted in an article in the Boston Globe about a Supreme Judicial Court ruling that conservation land in Massachusetts cannot be taxed. “What’s great about this opinion is the Massachusetts court looked at it and said public purposes and charitable purposes can be a lot broader than that,” she said.
