NPR's Morning Edition reports on rare Robert Frost collection at UB

Jonathan Reichert, UB professor emeritus of physics, who has donated to UB a rare collection of materials from poet Robert Frost, was interviewed on NPR’s Morning Edition on the 50th anniversary of the poet’s death.

Frost was a family friend of the Reicherts, and although Jonathan Reichert was nearly 60 years younger than Frost, they had a meaningful friendship. “I wasn’t afraid to talk to him,” Reichert said, “and he, I think, was very willing to engage with me. I was very lucky in that way.” The interview was heard on NPR stations across the country, including WBFO-FM. The Associated Press also distributed an article on the collection, which appeared in news outlets that include The Wall Street Journal.
