Boden, professor of medicine and preventive medicine, is quoted in a number of articles following the announcement this weekend at the American Diabetes Association meeting in New Orleans of a study that found that diabetics with stable heart disease do just as well taking drugs alone as getting quick angioplasty or bypass surgery to open blocked heart arteries.
