2019 End of the Year Social

The Minority Faculty Staff Association (MFSA) will held its annual End of the Year Social . Members reflected on the year and celebrated accomplishments. Dr. Danielle Johnson was recognized by MFSA for her continued commitment and dedication to the UB Community and Western New York. Danielle is a senior advisor/coordinator for the Daniel Acker Scholars Program at the University at Buffalo. She is also is a prison abolitionist and activist, serves as a board member and program associate for a non-profit called Prisoners are People Too, serves as vice-president of the Western New York Chapter of the Campaign for Alternatives to Isolated Confinement, and serves as co-chair of the Update Chapter of the Northeast Political Prisoner Coalition, serves as co-chair of the Buffalo Common Council Police Advisory Board, and a board member for Open Buffalo, a non-profit organization that fights against multiple forms of injustice. She holds a PhD in Higher Education, an MS in Student Personnel Administration, and a BS in Humanities.
