Dear University Community,

We have been informed that the College of Arts and Sciences dean candidate scheduled to visit campus on February 5 has chosen to withdraw from further consideration. As a result, there will be no public forum on Wednesday, February 5. While we regret losing this candidate from the group of finalists, it is not uncommon for the candidate pool to evolve during the final stages of an executive search.

We have an outstanding pool of four final candidates, visiting campus on February 11, 12, 13 and 14. We encourage all members of the UB community to participate in the public forums with each of the four finalists, and to offer feedback to the search committee regarding the finalist pool.
