IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger recieved the Outstanding Contribution for Individual Service in Public Health Award from the New York State Publich Health Association in April 2023.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Nicholas Fusco, Distinguished Practitioner Fellow from the National Acadamies of Practice in April 2023.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger received one of five Honorable Mention Awards for the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award for the project University at Buffalo’s Lighthouse Clinic: Reducing Barriers to Care and Impact of Social Determinants of Health.  This award is presented to an interprofessional team of health professional students and/or faculty, whose interdisciplinary work (e.g., research, community practice, and/or public health education) has significantly impacted the community they serve.

2022 Interprofessional Group Recognition Award Winner University at Buffalo Interprofessional Education Leadership Team (UB IPE Leadership Team). This award is given to groups who have made enduring contributions to interprofessional practice and education.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Kelly Foltz-Ramos received the Nurse of Distinction in Education award from the Buffalo News and the Professional Nurses Associations of Western New York (PNAWNY) in June 2022.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Nicholas Fusco, received the Teaching Innovation Award from the University at Buffalo in Fall 2021.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Catherine Mann received the Ruth T. McGrorey award from the Professional Nurses Associations of Western New York (PNAWNY) for leadership in nursing in May 2021.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Catherine Mann selected to participate in the 2021-2022 cohort of the AACN's (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses) Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing Fellowship Program that is designed to develop and enhance leadership skills in new and emerging leaders in nursing programs, April 2021.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Nicholas Fusco received the Emerging Teaching Scholar Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) in Summer 2020.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger received a new award from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation President's Grant program for the project entitled, Interprofessional Collaboration: Scientific Editing Fellowship. This project is to help build the capacity of the Journal of Student-Run Clinics while enhancing the skills of underrepresented students from a variety of health-related professions.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger and University at Buffalo co-collaborators, Todd Sage and Danielle Pelfrey Duryea, fellow IPE Leadership Team Member received one of five Honorable Mention Awards for the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award for the project University at Buffalo’s Lighthouse Clinic: An Interprofessional Initiative to Address Prominent Health Disparities in Western New York. This award is presented to an interprofessional team of health professional students and/or faculty, whose interdisciplinary work (e.g., research, community practice, and/or public health education) has significantly impacted the community they serve.
