IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger received one of five Honorable Mention Awards for the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award for the project University at Buffalo’s Lighthouse Clinic: Reducing Barriers to Care and Impact of Social Determinants of Health.  This award is presented to an interprofessional team of health professional students and/or faculty, whose interdisciplinary work (e.g., research, community practice, and/or public health education) has significantly impacted the community they serve.

IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger received a new award from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation President's Grant program for the project entitled, Interprofessional Collaboration: Scientific Editing Fellowship. This project is to help build the capacity of the Journal of Student-Run Clinics while enhancing the skills of underrepresented students from a variety of health-related professions.
