IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Nicholas Fusco, received the Teaching Innovation Award from the University at Buffalo in Fall 2021.
IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Catherine Mann received the Ruth T. McGrorey award from the Professional Nurses Associations of Western New York (PNAWNY) for leadership in nursing in May 2021.
IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Nicholas Fusco received the Emerging Teaching Scholar Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) in Summer 2020.
IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger received a new award from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation President's Grant program for the project entitled, Interprofessional Collaboration: Scientific Editing Fellowship. This project is to help build the capacity of the Journal of Student-Run Clinics while enhancing the skills of underrepresented students from a variety of health-related professions.
IPE Leadership Team Member, Dr. Jessica Kruger and University at Buffalo co-collaborators, Todd Sage and Danielle Pelfrey Duryea, fellow IPE Leadership Team Member received one of five Honorable Mention Awards for the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award for the project University at Buffalo’s Lighthouse Clinic: An Interprofessional Initiative to Address Prominent Health Disparities in Western New York. This award is presented to an interprofessional team of health professional students and/or faculty, whose interdisciplinary work (e.g., research, community practice, and/or public health education) has significantly impacted the community they serve.
