About Technology Entrepreneurship MGO 365

This three-credit course from the School of Management is ideal for upper-level undergraduates with a technology invention with commercialization potential.

The course will walk students through the process of starting a new technology-based venture from idea generation to commercialization. Through case analyses, mini lectures, guest speakers, class pitches, and business plan presentations, participants will acquire skills in conceptualizing, developing and managing a successful new venture involved in or affected by technological innovation. These skills will then be applied to a class project focused on the development of a technology-based idea.

Participation and Eligibility

The course is open to juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students. It is designed for students in a wide range of fields, from arts, sciences, engineering, health, law and management. This course is typically offered in the spring semester.
