At the School of Nursing, students engage in experiential learning in collaborative community settings, in the classroom, and with each other.  Interprofessional opportunities abound within the classroom, simulation labs and on cultural exchanges promoting an atmosphere that encourages a collaborative exchange of ideas.

Here, our faculty experts cultivate students’ knowledge and confidence in diverse areas of professional nursing practice and patient care. In addition, our highly regarded community partners, interprofessional education opportunities and global health focus help sharpen students'  professional skills with stimulating hands-on experiences that empower students to advocate for health equity for all people. 

With faculty members conducting research in emerging areas that advance nursing practice, shape health policy and impact the health of people, families and communities, our students are exposed to extraordinary opportunities to provide better patient care and develop new knowledge needed to improve patient outcomes.
