School of Nursing Fund for Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

School of Nursing faculty and staff 2017 award winners.

This fund supports a variety of diversity-related initiatives throughout the School of Nursing.

At the School of Nursing, we are committed to fostering an environment that supports all individuals and values diversity, inclusion and equity. These elements are fundamental to our core values of integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect for diverse backgrounds and opinions, and excellence.

Created by the support of Dean Marsha Lewis, this fund supports numerous initiatives, including mentoring and training for faculty, staff and students related to the topics of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.

As nurses who pledge to provide care for all human beings, we must take a stand against structural and systemic racism that is ingrained in every aspect of our society.
