UB faculty, staff and students are eligible to receive American Astronomical Society approved solar eclipse viewing glasses.
UB Sustainability is partnering with Astronomers Without Borders to provide solar viewing glasses to communities that do not have access to materials to safely view the eclipse. Instead of throwing away used solar viewing glasses, consider recycling them. Recycling stations will be available on UB's North and South campuses through Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
UB will be providing faculty, staff and students with American Astronomical Society approved Solar Eclipse viewing glasses. Glasses can be picked up at several locations on UB's North, South and Downtown campuses.
