UB offers many courses related to entrepreneurship. Check the HUB for up-to-date listings and course availability.
Please note: Not all courses are available to all students, nor are they available every semester. In some instances, instructor permission may be required.
The Entrepreneurship Lab, or eLab (MGO 493/695), prepares you with the skills to develop and manage a successful new venture and apply those skills to launch your own entrepreneurial idea. Throughout the course, guest presenters are brought in to share their expertise.
A hands-on, 3-credit course, the eLab is taught by Yong Li, associate professor of operations management and strategy, UB School of Management, and Martin Casstevens, business formation and commercialization manager, UB's Technology Transfer office.
eLab is for students who have entrepreneurial ideas but need help developing them prior to venture creation. If you plan to work with a team, you should form it before taking the course. The class is open to students from all disciplines and degree programs.
