UB's Food and Winter Clothing Drive
November 7 - December 5
Join the UB community in giving back this holiday season. From November 7 through December 5, donate non-perishable food and new or gently used winter clothing at collection bins across campus. Every item helps feed a family or keeps someone warm this winter.
Drop Off Locations
- 685 Baldy Hall
- Bell Hall - between 117 and 118
- Clemens Hall - 8th floor, in the hallway just off the elevators
- Computing Center - front vestibule
- Davis Hall - by the copier, under the monitors, when you first walk in the doors on the Mary Talbert side.
- NSC 369 - Chemistry Dept. suite
- Park Hall - 5th floor, just inside the History Dept. main office door
- Student Union 150
- UB Commons, Suite 114, Room 13 (Office for Research Advancement)
- Kimball Tower - near the elevators on the first floor *only collecting food donations*
- 219 Parker Hall
- Pharmacy Building
- Townsend Hall
- Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (955 Main St.) - bin located near the elevators on the first floor
- Baird Research Park (1576 Sweet Home Rd.)
- UB Athletics - collecting donations at ALL home sporting events throughout November.
Food & Clothing Wish List
- Proteins: Tuna, salmon, chicken, and stews
- Fruits: Packed in juice or water
- Vegetables: Low-sodium or no-salt-added
- Soups: Low-sodium and canned/boxed
- Other: Canned tomatoes, 100% fruit juice boxes, and unsweetened applesauce
- Grains: Rice (brown, wild), quinoa, barley, oats (rolled or steel-cut), and whole-grain pasta
- Cereals: Whole-grain, low-sugar options
- Dried beans and legumes: Lentils, peas, etc.
- Dried fruits: No added sugar
- Instant potatoes
- Cake and muffin mixes
- Peanut, almond, or other nut butters
- Cooking oils (olive, canola), honey, and seeds (unsalted)
- Broth or stock
- Dry or shelf-stable milk and milk alternatives: Dry or shelf-stable milk and milk alternatives (soy, almond, rice)
- Shelf-stable baby food and formula
- Herbs and spices: Dried, no-salt blends
- Gloves

Other ways to support:
Consider a monetary donation to FeedMore or other local organizations, or you can donate your time by volunteering. FeedMore always needs volunteers to serve as Meals on Wheels drivers and have asked for any and all UB personnel who are interested to contact them at the link above.
