A Science Café is a discussion about science in a social setting.
Community members talk with researchers about real-world
issues and the ways that research can impact health. Science
Cafés are open to the public. The researcher is Leah Topek-
Walker, DSW, LCSW-R, Clinical Associate Professor, School of
Social Welfare, SUNY Stoney Brook University.

*Listen to a research presentation on de-escalation strategies in library settings,
preventing conflict and diffusing situations.
*Participate in an open discussion about challenging behaviors in library settings.
*Receive a follow up email of resources.
