The CTSI is looking for participants for an upcoming Community Engagement Studio session, in which community members are invited to participate in the discussion of a topic and provide feedback from their perspective to improve research and make it meaningful to the community.
The session on June 16 will highlight artificial intelligence (AI) and addiction, how AI is used or misused, and experiences with addiction. Organizers are seeking participants who are:
* Adults with lived experience with addiction,
* Substance use/treatment professionals, or
* Community organizations or leaders/advocates.
Participants in the session will:
* Serve as a community expert,
* Listen to a 20-minute presentation from researchers,
* Share their questions and ideas about AI and addiction,
* Offer insight into their lived experience and journey with AI and addiction, and
* Receive $50 after the studio is completed.
