This workshop will introduce participants to the field of biomedical informatics. Attendees will become familiar with the breadth of the field of biomedical informatics and learn to recognize when to refer to a biomedical informatician. This workshop series is free and open to all students, fellows, faculty and staff at UB and the Buffalo Translational Consortium.

Registrants wishing to acquire deeper knowledge/skills in biomedical informatics, data science, and AI will have the opportunity to access a free Biomedical Informatics library of workshops to receive Certificates of Completion. Those wishing to receive Certificates of Completion must select any five videos from the Biomedical Informatics Bootcamp library and complete a short written protocol for each selected video.

Learning objectives:
* Understand the breadth of the field of biomedical informatics
* Recognize when to refer to a biomedical informatician
