The UB Clinical and Translational Science Institute presents a community conversation with is Lina Mu, MD, PhD, Director of Office of Global Health Initiatives, Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health, School of Public Health and Health Professions, University at Buffalo.

A Science Café is a community discussion about science in a social setting. Community members talk with researchers about real-world issues and the ways that research can impact health. Science Cafés are free and open to the public.

Attendees on March 11 will listen to a presentation from the researcher on the impacts of air quality; participate in an open discussion of exposure factors that increase health risks; and visit tables for more detailed information about efforts to improve the environment.

The event will be held In collaboration with East Buffalo Environmental Forum.
