The UB CTSI Open Research Office session on November 12 will highlight an online primer focused on helping researchers communicate with the community in plain language. The presenter will be Grace McKenzie, MEd, Community Engagement Coordinator, UB Clinical and Translational Science Institute. The session will:
* Introduce plain language
* Explain the CTSI Community Engagement Core’s plain language research project
* Outline the CTSI Community Engagement Core’s online plain language primer
* Offer guidance for researchers on using the primer
The Open Research Office features topics and guest speakers relevant to biomedical scientists and research coordinators. Sessions include opportunities for Q&A and open discussion. Bring questions, concerns, and ideas! Zoom link will be emailed to registrants.
