A Science Café is a community discussion about science in a social setting. Community members talk with researchers about real-world issues and the ways that research can impact health. Science Cafés are free and open to the public.

Attendees on December 3 will listen to a presentation on common needs and challenges of persons with legal system contact, and developing community strategies to increase well-being; participate in an open discussion on developing a responsive and caring community; and visit resource tables to connect with local organizations.

The Science Café will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Central Library Ring of Knowledge, 1 Lafayette Square, Buffalo, NY 14203.
