The goal of this session is to ensure that consumers, policy wonks and elected officials understand the significance and value of the translational science and clinical research performed by the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences faculty to the long term health and wellness of the WNY community. Presenters will interpret the implications of clinical and translational research findings for clinical practice, advocacy and governmental groups. They will also explain clinical and translational research findings for use in the creation of national health strategies, clinical guidelines and the health and wellness of the general public.
