As Western New Yorkers begin to experience spring weather, it is important for all of us to get outside and exercise whenever we can. The UB Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is here to help! The CTSI is committed to sharing research opportunities focused on physical activity all year long, but especially during spring, summer and fall.

In addition to the study below, check out the University at Buffalo’s Participate in Research portal for current studies in our area focusing on a variety of topics that might be of interest to you, your family and friends.

One noteworthy study currently seeking participants:

FIRST TIME FITNESS STUDY

Researchers in UB’s Department of Pediatrics aim to learn some of the thoughts that adults ages 18-45 have about the future and exercise.

During the study, participants will have two phone call appointments (about 30 minutes each) and one in-lab appointment (about 60-75 minutes). They will wear an activity tracker for two weeks and check a mobile, web-based app daily. Participants will also complete some surveys while in the study. Lab visits take place at UB’s South Campus.

Eligibility
