The Dissemination and Implementation Science Core workforce development and training initiatives feature a Core Competency Workshop Series. The workshop series will incorporate topics including:

  • Dissemination and implementation frameworks, models, and theories
  • Dissemination and implementation measures
  • Patient and community-driven dissemination and implementation science
  • Multi-disciplinary strategies (e.g., ethnography and asset mapping)
  • Strategies to adapt implementation in communities experiencing health challenges across Western New York
  • Newer approaches, such as hybrid trials, embedded pragmatic clinical trials, and de-implementation of low value care

The D&I Core is pleased to hear of the newly approved Implementation Science (IS) class for the Spring 2026 semester. It is a graduate level class taught by Dr. Gloria Adoo-Frimpong through the School of Public Health and Health Professions. We are excited to see IS expand its reach across multiple disciplines. If you are interested in learning about IS, please consider registering. The course number is EEH 596C.
