D&I Science Workshops

The Dissemination and Implementation Science Core Competency Workshop series was held for the first time in spring 2026. The series incorporated the following topics: 

  • Dissemination and implementation frameworks, models, and theories
  • Dissemination and implementation measures
  • Patient and community-driven dissemination and implementation science
  • Multi-disciplinary strategies (e.g., ethnography and asset mapping)
  • Strategies to adapt implementation in communities experiencing health challenges across Western New York
  • Newer approaches, such as hybrid trials, embedded pragmatic clinical trials, and de-implementation of low value care
