Media Advisory: UB Volunteers to Help Beautify Homes, Gardens in University District

University at Buffalo faculty, staff and students will gather from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, May 15) to help make a difference in the community surrounding the UB South Campus as part of the second annual UB Community Day.

Volunteers will be performing minor home repair and gardening in the University District, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo. They will meet at 8:30 a.m. on the South Campus before fanning out throughout the neighborhood to make new friends, have fun and beautify the UB South Campus neighborhood.
