Campus Mail Services
Supervisor for Campus Mail Services, Wendy Hicks consistently strives to improve the efficiency of these services, receiving kudos from her colleagues for her ability to embrace change and collaborate with staff and campus departments. Working with the Office of Campus Living, she led an effort to streamline package delivery notification to students. Known for problem-solving, she has been able to seamlessly meet campus mail needs during departmental moves and campus construction. Ms. Hicks is a conscientious steward of university resources, currently demonstrated by a construction project that will relocate UB’s Print Services to the Campus Mail building.
College of Arts and Sciences
Administrative assistant to the dean in the College of Arts and Sciences, Catherine Swiech provides the highest level of service to students, faculty, staff and external community members as a first point of contact in the dean’s office. Responsive and reassuring, Mrs. Swiech demonstrates compassion to students, who regularly come to her with a wide range of concerns, questions and paperwork. Mrs. Swiech expertly handles faculty requests with the same professional and compassionate demeanor. Throughout the college, she is known by her colleagues as a dedicated employee who is always willing to go above and beyond.
