Spinoza, Judaism, and Politics

Sponsored by the Institute of Jewish Thought and Heritage, two leading internationally recognized Spinoza scholars: Steven Nadler (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and Zev Harvey (Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Visiting Professor at Columbia University, NY), are joined by the IJTH's Richard A. Cohen, and our new faculty member Alex Green to present papers and engage in discussion of the philosophy of Baruch Spinoza (1632-1670) in relation to Judaism and politics.
