Professional Licensure Disclosures

Mandatory Professional Licensure Disclosure

New York State prides itself in the high quality of its licensed and certified professionals. For the protection of its citizens, each license and certificate has requirements that individuals must meet in order to be licensed or certified in New York State. Thus, each of SUNY’s academic programs that lead to licensure or certification are carefully designed to meet and exceed these State requirements. This is the role the SUNY system plays in protecting the public.

UB offers several 100-percent online programs that lead to licensure or professional certification where licensure or professional certification is required to practice in the discipline in New York State. The attestations below outline the responsibilities of both UB and students who engage in programs where 100-percent of the degree requirements can be fulfilled online.
