Academic integrity, the honest completion of work, is the value upon which a university is built. All members of the UB community may not understand the intricacies of academic integrity and how it is upheld at the university. The Office of Academic Integrity is here to provide education and support to instructors and students as they pursue their academic endeavors.
The Office of Academic Integrity (OAI) at the University at Buffalo promotes the university’s fundamental value of integrity in the academic enterprise. By holding students accountable to honesty in the learning and research processes, supporting faculty in creating academically sound learning environments, and working with the campus community to fairly and consistently enforce academic policies, the OAI helps propel students to academic excellence and protects UB’s status as a premier research university.
