"Space"

Photographic work by Cambodian refugee and UB alumnus Hei Han Khian will be on display through tomorrow in the Art Department Gallery in the Center for the Arts on the North Campus. Gallery hours are Tues. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"The Graduate Show: Second-Year Students"

Work by second-year graduate students in the Department of Art will be on display Oct. 5 through Oct. 27 in the Art De-partment Gallery on the lower level of the Center for the Arts on the North Campus. Gallery hour are Tues. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"19th Century Botanical Prints"

The first art exhibit of the Health Sciences Library will be on display through the end of the Fall semester in the administration area of the library on the South Campus. Made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Health Sciences Library and the Medical Historical Society, the exhibit is the first of a series developed by the Art in the Library Committee. The botanical print was reproduced from a book published in 1863 owned by the Robert L. Brown History of Medicine Collection. "Darstellung und Beschreibung sammtlicher in der Pharmacopoea borussica aufgefuhrten offizinellen Gewachse oder der Stoffe..." (Presentation and Description of all Official Plants Listed in the Book Pharmacopoea Borussica...) contains images of plants with medicinal properties listed in another book entitled "Pharmacopoea Borussica," also owned by the history collection
