Campaign at more than 40 percent of goal

Published: Nov. 8, 2012

UB’s 2012 Employees Campaign for the Community has raised $335,929.30, or 41.2 percent of its goal of $815,000.

The amount raised as of Nov. 7 is based on the response of 17.1 percent of UB employees who have either made a gift or declined.

The campaign features a number of incentives to encourage employee to donate to the campaign. Only those individuals who have made a donation to the campaign are eligible to win. Prizes will be awarded every Wednesday and all employees who make a donation by midnight the previous night will be eligible to win. Winners will be posted on the campaign web site under “news.”

Steven B. Olszewski of Network and Classroom Services won this week’s prize, a $50 gift certificate to the Blue Fire Grill in the Buffalo Niagara Marriott.

Prizes still to be awarded include an HP Photosmart printer (Nov. 14) and a Nook (Nov. 21)
