UB’s 2011 Employees Campaign for the Community has raised $701,214.90, or 85 percent of its goal of $825,000.

The amount raised as of Dec. 7 is based on the participation of 29 percent of UB employees who have made a gift online, a response rate of 51 percent.

A final incentive prize to encourage employee response is a parking space for the spring 2012 semester, which will be drawn on Dec. 14. To be eligible to receive the prize, employees must respond to the campaign before Dec. 14.

The campaign runs through the end of the semester. Dennis Black, vice president for university life and services, is campaign chair.
