The artwork features several different colors of yarn, each one representing an important relationship in Kellam’s life.
Kellam spun some of the yarn herself.
Kellam also made some custom dyes.
The blue yarn represents the relationships she has formed since coming to UB in August 2020.
She hopes to include “Timeline” in her thesis presentation at a gallery in spring 2022 as she wraps up her studies at UB.
Kellam will hold her spring show at Project 308 in North Tonawanda.
University Communications photographer Meredith Forrest Kulwicki recently spotted some activity in the Center for the Arts. MFA student Marguerite Kellam was installing her work, “Timeline,” in the Project Space on the first floor of the CFA.
