Jeff Polish talked about "Shaping Meaningful Events into Memorable Stories" at the first workshop of the "Telling My Story" series held on Feb. 15 in the Hadley Village Common Room.

Jeff Polish earned a PhD in molecular cell biology and after seven years of teaching, he left science to pursue storytelling as a full-time endeavor.

Jeff Polish founded The Monti, an organization whose mission is to create community through storytelling, in 2008. He also consults with businesses and nonprofits on how to communicate effectively through storytelling.

Telling his story

The "Telling My Story: Communicating with Digital Confidence" workshop series kicked off Feb. 15 with a talk by Jeff Polish, founder and executive director of The Monti, an organization that aims to create community through storytelling.
