President Satish K. Tripathi was among 11 public university presidents and chancellors who met on Feb. 23 with U.S. education Secretary Betsy DeVos. The presidents, all members of the board of directors of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, spoke with DeVos on a number of topics, among them increasing access and affordability, boosting degree completion and better preparing students to enter and succeed in the workforce.
