Homeowners can learn how to install solar panels on their homes at a presentation to be held at 7 p.m. March 24 in Room 208 of the UB Gateway Building, 77 Goodell St., Buffalo.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Sierra Club Niagara Group and the UB Office of Sustainability.

Local companies CIR Electric, Frey Electric and Solar Liberty will discuss the benefits of solar-panel installation on residential property, as well as answer “how-to” questions.
