In partnership with Kids Try Inc., UB Recreation Services will host a four-day triathlon camp for children ages 7-14 next week on the UB South Campus.

The camp will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. Aug. 12-15 in Clark Hall. Check-in time on Aug. 12 is 8:30 a.m.

During the camp, children will learn about and train for a kids-distance triathlon, including receiving instruction on safety aspects of the sport and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

To participate, children must be able to swim at least one length of the pool, run around a track and provide their own bicycle and helmet.

The cost is $15 per child to cover USAT insurance. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Register online at the Kids Try Inc. Facebook page.
