The Newman Centers at UB will mark the opening of the 2013-14 academic year with the 37th annual Convocation and Liturgy of the Holy Spirit, to be held at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 22 in St. Joseph University Church, 3269 Main St., adjacent to the South Campus.

During the convocation, the Newman Award, the highest honor given by the Newman Centers, will be presented to the staff of the Division of Student Affairs for outstanding and unselfish service to the UB community.

All members of the campus community are invited to attend the convocation.
