ESPN2 will broadcast the UB football team’s season opener against Ohio State on Aug. 31, putting the first-ever meeting between the teams on the national stage. Kickoff is at noon in Ohio Stadium.

The Buckeyes are coming off a 12-0 season in 2012. The Bulls won three of their final four games in 2012 and return the key nucleus of players for the 2013 season.

UB’s game at Ohio State is the first of five Bulls’ games set to air on one of ESPN’s platforms. Beginning in November, the Bulls’ final four games of the regular season will air on ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3.
