The 12th annual Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13, rain or shine, in the University Heights and Eggertsville neighborhoods near the UB South Campus.
The garden walk is a free, self-guided tour of more than 60 private gardens and carefully nurtured public spaces. It is designed to encourage neighborhood beautification, collaboration and build a strong community.
Maps are available at the University Community Farmer’s Market on the UB campus at Main Street at Kenmore Avenue; the University Heights Tool Library, 5 W. Northrup Place, next to Just Pizza; and the UB Anderson Gallery, 1 Martha Jackson Place off Englewood Avenue south of Kenmore Avenue.
