To facilitate and encourage new interdisciplinary conversations,
Cultures and Texts organizes, sponsors, and/or hosts
a variety of workshops, conferences and lectures.
Each semester, the Strategic Strength in Cultures and Texts
hosts an interdisciplinary workshop, giving participants the
opportunity to learn more about ongoing work by Strength-affiliated
faculty.
Each year, the Cultures and Texts Faculty Advisory Committee
sponsors several larger conferences. These interdisciplinary
conferences in the humanities bring in scholars at the regional,
national, and international level.
