Presenter at Food Policy Summit presents research to audience in Karpeles Manuscript Museum

As an urban public research university, UB possesses strengths across its various units including its ability to marshal collaborative expertise in research, teaching and service that can positively impact local, national, and even global constituencies.

Community-Based Research

UB researchers involve communities as partners in creating and disseminating research results. With communities involved in framing the research questions, research results can be more effectively disseminated and practices and policies changed. Community based research can focus on a number of things, including but not limited to:

  • Social Justic Issues
  • Urban Development and Change
  • Environmental Stewardship
