As an urban public research university, UB possesses strengths across its various units including its ability to marshal collaborative expertise in research, teaching and service that can positively impact local, national and even global constituencies.

Community-Based Research

UB researchers involve communities as partners in creating and disseminating research results. With communities involved in framing the research questions, research results can be more effectively disseminated and practices and policies changed. Community-based research supported by CEPP is used to study issues of social justice, equity and public policy.
