Recent research involving Integrated Nanostructured Systems researchers could have significant potential in better and earlier detection of tumors and other dangerous microbes. The study, which INS FAC members Paras Prasad and Mark Swihart worked on,  investigates the use of “quantum dots” to locate and spot tumors.
