Soliciting feedback from the campus community on the first draft of Realizing UB 2020

The first draft of Realizing UB 2020 was released for campus review and comment on December 18, 2012. The draft articulates UB's mission and vision, provides planning context, focuses on institutional goals and values, and outlines three of several strategies that will form the basis for the university’s direction over the next several years. Provost Charles F. Zukoski encourages all faculty, staff and students to offer thoughts about this draft.

President Tripathi charged me with leading a campus conversation to determine how best to achieve UB’s ambitious goals. For this process, we are developing a statement of institutional direction; we are referring to this exercise as Realizing UB 2020. This exercise will be complete in May 2013 and the results are expected to transform UB.
