- Leverage the buying power of UB in the procurement of IT hardware and software
- Deploy data backup
- Deploy common software tools
- Deploy security infrastructure
- Deploy patching
- Expand wireless coverage
- Accelerate network expansion and upgrades on and off-campus
- Enable transition to next generation of the Internet (ipv6)
