Building UB: Our Physical Plan

North Campus

The capital projects for North Campus address some of the varying needs of this diverse campus. These capital projects will improve the environments for many faculty, students and staff by creating new housing for students, improved amenities for faculty and staff and modern teaching and learning facilities.

A major new facility near the stadium will support the UB Bulls’ drive to become more competitive in Division I athletics, especially football.

Renovations of Capen and Lockwood will integrate teaching, technology, libraries, student services, dining and residences to create a new “learning landscape."

The new facility improves and expands capacity to serve the needs of students, faculty and staff with young children.

Designed to meet LEED “Gold” standards, this striking new building will house Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

This new suite-style residence hall will accommodate 600 students and integrate features of UB’s emerging "learning landscape."

Following the migration of the School of Pharmacy to South Campus, space will be renovated to meet growing demands in basic sciences.
