Research fostered by the UB 2020 Civic Engagement and Public Policy Research Initiative.
CEPP’s Research Fellowship program began as a pilot program in the spring of 2009 and subequently became a staple feature of CEPP’s support for community-based research used to study issues of social justice, equity, and public policy.
The outcomes of CEPP’s research fellowships are as varied as the projects CEPP has funded, including exhibitions and documentaries as well as publications and presentations. In the sections below, organized by the year of fellowship, we present a glimpse of the academic outcomes of the community-based research projects conducted by our research fellows. The substantial output of our funded faculty underscores the benefits of having a UB initiative to advance and support community-based research.
