UB's president and provost are at the top of the institution's
planning and implementation infrastructure. They will establish the
vision, set planning principles, contextualize the need for change
and make final decisions. Below the president and provost are the
members of the Executive Committee; they will serve as advisors to
the president and provost, consider alternatives, develop
recommendations, and develop fiscal strategies to support planning
and related initiatives.
The communication support person will work with the president,
provost, and executive committee. A Student Advisory Group will
provide advice to the Cxecutive Committee, offer the student
perspective on planning and implementation, consider planning
assumptions and recommendations, and bring forward any student
issues and concerns. Reporting to the Executive Committee are two
committees: the Academic Planning Committee and the Academic
Support Planning Committee. These committees will provide guidance
to planning teams, remove barriers, and make recommendations to the
Executive Committee.
