Larry Jackson takes the lead in a drum circle that was part of the Solstice Celebration held in the Center for Tomorrow on March 23 to welcome the spring equinox. The event featured sessions on the medicine wheel, spirit guides and dreams, in addition to the drumming.



Study sets UB's impact at $1.28 billion
University leverages state's investment by more than 4 times to benefit local economy

The university leverages state funding by more than four times to the benefit of Western New York, with an annual economic impact on the region of more than $1.25 billion, according to a new economic impact study prepared by UB based on methods used nationally to evaluate the economic impact of universities.

UB to partner with Irish universities

The university has entered into a new high-technology partnership with Biopharma Ireland, Ireland's new national institute focused on biopharmaceutical research and development, giving the Buffalo Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics an important international connection.
